Some Prophesies From The Prophet, Isaiah, and Their Fulfillment

Here is some scriptural proof from the bible book of Isaiah
that Jesus Christ is the Jewish Messiah (God the anointed One)

Written by Kraig Josiah Rice

The Second Coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ
(The Last Days- The End of the Age
)

These scriptures are found in Isaiah-
Comfort, comfort My people- says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem. Tell her that her sad days are gone and that her sins are pardoned. Yes, the Lord has punished her in full for all her sins. Listen! I hear the voice of someone shouting- make a highway for the Lord through the wilderness. Make a straight, smooth road through the desert for our God. Fill the valleys and level the hills. Straighten out the curves and smooth off the rough spots. Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. The Lord has spoken
(Isaiah 40:1-5).

Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink- even if you have no money. Come, take your choice of wine or milk- it is all free. Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen, and I will tell you where to get food that is good for the soul. Come to Me with your ears wide open. Listen, for the life of your soul is at stake. I AM ready to make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the mercies and unfailing love that I promised to David. He displayed My power by being My witness and a leader among the nations. You also will command the nations, and they will come running to obey, because I, the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, have made you glorious
(Isaiah 55:1-5).

A Song of Praise to the Lord- In that day, everyone in the land of Judah will sing this song- Our city is now strong. We are surrounded by the walls of God's salvation. Open the gates to all who are righteous- allow the faithful to enter. You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, whose thoughts are fixed on you. Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock
(Isaiah 26:1-4).

It appears a fulfillment of this prophesy can be found in the Bible Book of Revelation

So he took me in spirit to a great, high mountain, and he showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. It was filled with the glory of God and sparkled like a precious gem, crystal clear like jasper (Revelation 21:10-11). No temple could be seen in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light. The nations of the earth will walk in its light, and the rulers of the world will come and bring their glory to it. Its gates never close at the end of day because there is no night. And all the nations will bring their glory and honor into the city. Nothing evil will be allowed to enter- no one who practices shameful idolatry and dishonesty- but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life (Revelation 21:22-27). See, I AM coming soon, and My reward is with Me, to repay all according to their deeds. I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who wash their robes so they can enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life
(Revelation 22:12-14).

The Battle of Armageddon

These scriptures are found in Isaiah-
He (God) will lift up a banner to the nations from afar, and will whistle to them from the end of the earth- surely they shall come with speed, swiftly
(Isaiah 5:26).

For every warrior's sandal from the noisy battle, and garments rolled in blood, will be used for burning and fuel of fire
(Isaiah 9:5).

For it is a Day of Trouble and of crushing down and of destruction from the Lord, the Lord of Armies, in the valley of vision- breaking down the walls- and of crying to the mountain. Elam bore the quiver With chariots of men and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield. It shall come to pass that your choicest valleys shall be full of chariots, and the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate. He removed the protection of Judah. You looked in that Day to the armor of the House of the Forest- you also saw the damage to the city of David, that it was great- and you gathered together the waters of the lower pool. You numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses you broke down To fortify the wall. You also made a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the old pool. But you did not look to its Maker, nor did you have respect for Him who fashioned it long ago. And in that Day, the Lord God of Armies called for weeping and for mourning, for baldness and for girding with sackcloth
(Isaiah 22:5-12).

It appears a fulfillment of this prophesy can be found in the Bible Book of Revelation

After that, another angel came from the Temple in Heaven, and he also had a sharp sickle. Then another angel, who has power to destroy the world with fire, shouted to the angel with the sickle- use your sickle now to gather the clusters of grapes from the vines of the earth, for they are fully ripe for judgment. So the angel swung his sickle on the earth and loaded the grapes into the great winepress of God's anger. And the grapes were trodden in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress in a stream about 180 miles long and as high as a horse's bridle
(Revelation 14:17-20).

Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. And the One sitting on the horse was named Faithful and True. For He judges fairly and then goes to war. His eyes were bright like flames of fire, and on His head were many crowns. A name was written on Him, and only He knew what it meant. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His title was the Word of God. The armies of heaven, dressed in pure white linen, followed Him on white horses. From his mouth came a sharp sword, and with it he struck down the nations. He ruled them with an iron rod, and He trod the winepress of the fierce anger of Almighty God. On His robe and thigh was written this title- King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, shouting to the vultures flying high in the sky- come! Gather together for the great banquet God has prepared. Come and eat the flesh of kings, captains, and strong warriors- of horses and their riders- and of all humanity, both free and slave, small and great. Then I saw the beast gathering the kings of the earth and their armies in order to fight against the One sitting on the horse and His army. And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who did mighty miracles on behalf of the beast- miracles that deceived all who had accepted the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue. Both the beast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. Their entire army was killed by the sharp sword that came out of the mouth of the one riding the white horse. And all the vultures of the sky gorged themselves on the dead bodies
(Revelation 19:11-21).

These Conditions Will Exist During Christ's Future Millennial Reign

What is the Millennium? It is a one thousand year period of time when the Messiah, King Jesus Christ, rules the world from Jerusalem.

These scriptures are found in Isaiah-
He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people- they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks- nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore
(Isaiah 2:4).

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together- and a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze- their young ones shall lie down together- and the lion shall eat straw like the ox
(Isaiah 11:6-7).

For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth- it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace- the mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree- and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off
(Isaiah 55:10-13).

Look! I AM creating new heavens and a new earth- so wonderful that no one will even think about the old ones anymore. Be glad- rejoice forever in My creation! And look! I will create Jerusalem as a place of happiness. Her people will be a source of joy. I will rejoice in Jerusalem and delight in My people. And the sound of weeping and crying will be heard no more. No longer will babies die when only a few days old. No longer will adults die before they have lived a full life. No longer will people be considered old at one hundred! Only sinners will die that young! In those days, people will live in the houses they build and eat the fruit of their own vineyards. It will not be like the past, when invaders took the houses and confiscated the vineyards. For My people will live as long as trees and will have time to enjoy their hard-won gains. They will not work in vain, and their children will not be doomed to misfortune. For they are people blessed by the Lord, and their children, too, will be blessed. I will answer them before they even call to Me. While they are still talking to Me about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers! The wolf and lamb will feed together. The lion will eat straw like the ox. Poisonous snakes will strike no more. In those days, no one will be hurt or destroyed on My holy mountain. I, the Lord, have spoken!
(Isaiah 65:17-25).

It appears a fulfillment of this prophesy can be found in the Bible Books of Revelation and Hebrews

Then I saw an angel come down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his hand. He seized the dragon- that old serpent, the Devil, Satan- and bound him in chains for a thousand years. The angel threw him into the bottomless pit, which he then shut and locked so Satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were finished. Afterward he would be released again for a little while. Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus, for proclaiming the word of God. And I saw the souls of those who had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their forehead or their hands. They came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years. This is the first resurrection. (The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended.) Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years
(Revelation 20:1-7).

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord- I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts- and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying- know the Lord, for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them
(Hebrews 8:10-11).

There is Favor and Blessing For Each of God's Overcomers during Christ's Millennial Reign

These scriptures are found in Isaiah-
But all will be well for those who are godly. Tell them- you will receive a wonderful reward...
(Isaiah 3:10).

Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that no one went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations. You shall drink the milk of the Gentiles, and milk the breast of kings- you shall know that I, the Lord, AM your Savior And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob. Instead of bronze I will bring gold, instead of iron I will bring silver, instead of wood, bronze, and instead of stones, iron. I will also make your officers peace, and your magistrates righteousness. Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor destruction within your borders- but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise. The sun shall no longer be your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you- but the Lord will be to you an everlasting light, and your God your glory. Your sun shall no longer go down, nor shall your moon withdraw itself- for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended. Also your people shall all be righteous- they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified. A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time
(Isaiah 60:15-22).

He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord's favor has come, and with it, the day of God's anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Israel, He will give beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning, praise instead of despair. For the Lord has planted them like strong and graceful oaks for His own glory
(Isaiah 61:2-3).

In that day you will sing- praise the Lord! He was angry with me, but now He comforts me. See, God has come to save me. I will trust in Him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song- He has become my salvation. With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation! In that wonderful day you will sing- thank the Lord! Praise His name! Tell the world what He has done. Oh, how mighty He is! Sing to the Lord, for He has done wonderful things. Make known His praise around the world. Let all the people of Jerusalem shout His praise with joy! For great is the Holy One of Israel who lives among you
(Isaiah 12:1-6).

It appears a fulfillment of these prophecies can be found in the Bible Books of Second Thessalonians and Revelation

But God will use this persecution to show His justice. For He will make you worthy of His Kingdom, for which you are suffering, and in His justice He will punish those who persecute you. And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from Heaven. He will come with His mighty angels, in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who do not know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from His glorious power when He comes to receive glory and praise from His holy people. And you will be among those praising Him on that day, for you believed what we testified about Him. And so we keep on praying for you, that our God will make you worthy of the life that He called you to. And we pray that God, by His power, will fulfill all your good intentions and faithful deeds. Then everyone will give honor to the name of our Lord Jesus because of you, and you will be honored along with Him. This is all made possible because of the undeserved favor of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ
(2 Thessalonians 1:5-12).

And I heard a loud voice from Heaven saying- behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God
(Revelation 21:3).

Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city
(Revelation 22:14).

It Appears That God's Final Plan Will Be Completed

These scriptures are found in Isaiah-
For I will shake the heavens, and the earth will move from its place. I, the Lord Almighty, will show My fury and fierce anger
(Isaiah 13:13).

...but suddenly, your ruthless enemies will be driven away like chaff before the wind. In an instant, I, the Lord Almighty, will come against them with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and storm and consuming fire. All the nations fighting against Jerusalem will vanish like a dream! Those who are attacking her walls will vanish like a vision in the night
(Isaiah 29:5-7).

When the Lord rises to shake the earth, His enemies will crawl with fear into holes in the ground. They will hide in caves in the rocks from the terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty. They will abandon their gold and silver idols to the moles and bats. They will crawl into caverns and hide among the jagged rocks at the tops of cliffs. In this way, they will try to escape the terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty as He rises to shake the earth. Stop putting your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. How can they be of help to anyone?
(Isaiah 2:19-22).

The earth suffers for the sins of its people, for they have twisted the instructions of God, violated his laws, and broken His everlasting covenant. Therefore, a curse consumes the earth and its people. They are left desolate, destroyed by fire. Few will be left alive. (Isaiah 24:5-6). Destruction falls on you from the heavens. The world is shaken beneath you. The earth has broken down and has utterly collapsed. Everything is lost, abandoned, and confused. The earth staggers like a drunkard. It trembles like a tent in a storm. It falls and will not rise again, for its sins are very great. In that day the Lord will punish the fallen angels in the heavens and the proud rulers of the nations on earth. They will be rounded up and put in prison until they are tried and condemned. Then the Lord Almighty will mount His throne on Mount Zion. He will rule gloriously in Jerusalem, in the sight of all the leaders of His people. There will be such glory that the brightness of the sun and moon will seem to fade away
(Isaiah 24:18-23).

It appears a fulfillment of this prophesy can be found in the Bible Book of Revelation

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in Heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and anger of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written- KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Then I saw an angel standing in the sun- and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the middle of heaven- come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great. And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh
(Revelation 19:11-21).

Then I saw an angel come down from Heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his hand. He seized the dragon- that old serpent, the Devil, Satan- and bound him in chains for a thousand years. The angel threw him into the bottomless pit, that he then shut and locked so Satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were finished. The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years
(Revelation 20:1-6).

A New Heaven and A New Earth

A New Heaven

These scriptures are found in Isaiah-
Look! I AM creating new heavens and a new earth- so wonderful that no one will even think about the old ones anymore. Be glad- rejoice forever in My creation. And look- I will create Jerusalem as a place of happiness. Her people will be a source of joy. I will rejoice in Jerusalem and delight in My people. And the sound of weeping and crying will be heard no more
(Isaiah 65:17-19)...For as the new heavens and the new earth that I will make shall remain before Me- says the Lord, so shall your descendants and your name remain
(Isaiah 66:22).

It appears a fulfillment of these prophecies can be found in the Bible Books of Second Peter and Revelation-

Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying- behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes- there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away
(Revelation 21:1-4).

But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth He has promised, a world where everyone is right with God
(2 Peter 3:13).

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, that is in the middle of the Paradise of God
(Revelation 2:7).

What is the final conclusion of the matter-
