...you are My servant. You have been chosen to know Me, believe in Me, and understand that
I alone am God. There is no other God- there never has been and never will be.
I AM the Lord, and there is no other Savior

These scriptures are found in Isaiah-
Be just and fair to all, says the Lord. Do what is right and good, for I AM coming soon
to rescue you. Blessed are those who are careful to do this. Blessed are those who honor
My Sabbath days of rest by refusing to work. And blessed are those who keep themselves from
doing wrong
(Isaiah 56:1-2).
For I, the Lord, love justice. I hate robbery and wrongdoing. I will faithfully reward My
people for their suffering and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants
will be known and honored among the nations. Everyone will realize that they are a people
the Lord has blessed
(Isaiah 61:8-9).
(Exodus 23:25).
Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. Blessed shall be the
fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of
your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading
bowl. Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face- they
shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. The Lord will command the
blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless
you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you. The Lord will establish you as a holy
people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord
your God and walk in His ways. Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called
by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. And the Lord will grant you plenty of
goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your
ground, in the land of that the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. The Lord will open to
you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless
all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail- you shall be above only, and not be
beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, that I command you today,
and are careful to observe them. So you shall not turn aside from any of the words that I
command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them
(Deuteronomy 28:2-14).
(Matthew 24:46).
Then Jesus answered and said- a certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among
thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the
other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on
the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw
him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine- and
he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day,
when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him- take
care of him- and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you. So which of
these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves? And he said- he who
showed mercy on him. Then Jesus said to him- Go and do likewise
(Luke 10:30-37).
Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar
off. And they lifted up their voices and said- Jesus, Master, have mercy on us! So when He saw
them, He said to them- go, show yourselves to the priests. And so it was that as they went,
they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud
voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a
Samaritan. So Jesus answered and said- were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner? And He said
to him- arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well
(Luke 17:12-19).
These scriptures are found in Isaiah-
...the kind of fasting I want calls you to free those who are wrongly imprisoned and to
stop oppressing those who work for you. Treat them fairly and give them what they earn.
I want you to share your food with the hungry and to welcome poor wanderers into your homes.
Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help.
If you do these things, your salvation will come like the dawn. Yes, your healing will come
quickly. Your godliness will lead you forward, and the glory of the Lord will protect you
from behind. Then when you call, the Lord will answer. Yes, I AM here, He will quickly
reply. Stop oppressing the helpless and stop making false accusations and spreading vicious
rumors! Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the
darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as day. The Lord will guide you
continually, watering your life when you are dry and keeping you healthy, too. You will be
like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring
(Isaiah 58:6-10).
(Matthew 25:34-40).
These scriptures are found in Isaiah-
Listen to Me, all of you in far-off lands! The Lord called Me before My birth- from within
the womb He called Me by name. He made My words of judgment as sharp as a sword. He has
hidden Me in the shadow of His hand. I AM like a sharp arrow in His quiver. He said to
Me- you are My servant, Israel, and you will bring Me glory.
I replied- but my work all seems so useless! I have spent my strength for nothing and to no
purpose at all. Yet I leave it all in the Lord's hand- I will trust God for my reward. And now
the Lord speaks-
He who formed me in my mother's womb to be His servant, who commissioned me to bring His people
of Israel back to Him. The Lord has honored me, and my God has given me strength. He
says- You will do more than restore the people of Israel to Me. I will make you a light to
the Gentiles, and you will bring My salvation to the ends of the earth
(Isaiah 49:1-5).
(Revelation 2:16).
Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in
Heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in Heaven.
Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a (spiritual)
sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a
daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law- and a man's enemies will be those of his own
household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son
or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow
after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life
for My sake will find it
(Matthew 10:32-39).
Then He said to them- but now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and
likewise a knapsack- and he who has no (spiritual) sword, let him sell his garment and buy one.
For I say to you that this that is written must still be accomplished in
Me- and He was numbered with the transgressors. For the things concerning Me have
an end. So they said- Lord, look, here are two swords. And He said to them- it is enough
(Luke 22:36-38).
Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's servant, and cut off his
right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. So Jesus said to Peter- put your (literal) sword
into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup (of suffering) that My Father has given Me?
(John 18:10-11).
But Jesus said to him- put your sword in its place, for all who take the (literal) sword will perish
by the sword. Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with
more than twelve legions of angels? How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must
happen thus?
(Matthew 26:52-54).
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, that is the word of God...
(Ephesians 6:17).
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged
sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and
is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart
(Hebrews 4:12).
But now, O Lord, You are our Father- we are the clay, and You our potter- and all we are
the work of Your hand
(Isaiah 64:8).
But, O man, who are you, to make answer against God? May the thing that is made say
to Him who made it, why did you make me so? Or has not the potter the right to make out
of one part of His earth a vessel for honor, and another for dishonor?
(Romans 9:20-21).
This scripture is found in Isaiah-
Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver- I have tested you in the furnace of affliction
(Isaiah 48:10).
(Matthew 4:3-4).
(Luke 22:44).
To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and
homeless. And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless- being persecuted,
we endure- being defamed, we entreat. We have been made as the filth of the world, the
offscouring of all things until now
(1 Corinthians 4:11-13).
From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. Three times I was beaten with
rods- once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the
deep- in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own
countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in
perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren- in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness
often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness besides the other things,
what comes upon me daily- my deep concern for all the churches
(2 Corinthians 11:24-28).

Come, My people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you- hide
yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is past
(Isaiah 26:20).
(John 20:18-20).
